On 4-7 July, Mr.Stefano Sannino, Secretary General of the European External Action Service is paying working visit to Mongolia. Deputy Foreign Minister G.Amartuvshin received him on 4 July.
The sides exchanged views on the current state of relations between Mongolia and the EU, its future trends and some international problems.
Stressing the importance of the ongoing active mechanism of bilateral dialogue in expanding cooperation, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the regular meeting of the Mongolia-EU Joint Committee scheduled for this month in Brussels will be successful.
Secretary General Stefano Sannino confirmed that the EU, as Mongolia’s third neighbor, is committed to expanding and strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations based on the shared values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law.
