This year’s Spring Planting Day is on May 11. Since this year marks the 100th anniversary of the modern forestry industry, Spring Planting Day is planned to be held until the end of May. The work plan to be implemented on this occasion was approved by the order of the Minister of Environment and Tourism No. A/238 dated April 26, 2024.
According to plan, an exhibition of tree seedlings and saplings will be organized in 3 locations in Ulaanbaatar, and in 21 provinces. Trade fairs will be organized in the following three locations in Ulaanbaatar, Tenger plaza, A garden for the collection of woody plants and Victory square.
Trees will be planted on May 11-18 in eight locations in Ulaanbaatar. Employees of about 310 organizations which is operating in Ulaanbaatar will participate this event.
